How to set up Text messaging for US and Canadian customers

This article applies only to customers who are located in the US and Canada. Click here if you reside outside the US and Canada.

If you want to use text messaging as a way of communicating with your clients, you will need to perform the following steps:

Let us know that you want the SMS text messaging add-on added to your Proofpix account. There is no charge apart from the per-messaging sending.

Navigate to the SMS settings page.

Choose a number closet to your business
If a no numbers are available in your rate area, then choose another closest to it.

Enter in a forwarding mobile number, choose from the other options, and save your settings.

Please send us message which includes your new number so we may add it to the registry to help improve deliverability across networks. This process takes a few days to complete, as a rule and you should not send any messages until you hear back from us that the number was added successfully.

Purchase service credits.

You may purchase one-time credits or a credit subscription which will automatically add service credits to your account each month. Credits do not expire.

Enter your credit card info to complete the purchase.
